Are we independent?

Whenever I read my fifth standard textbook,I feel very proud that leaders like Bhagat Singh,Veer Savarkar, Lokmanya Tilak and many others fought for our freedom. But sometimes I wonder on the 65th year of our independence are we still independent? Actually we are weak cowards. Our neighboring country beheaded our 5 soldiers still we did not show our resentment in action. We are still playing one day cricket matches with that country. There are hundreds of girls which are killed everyday. Female foeticide is national epidemic. Even the so-called educated class have the same sick mentality. Since the awareness of global warming has spread all the countries are doing there best to reduce the usage of private vehicles, plastic bags. But our country, everywhere you go you will only see people spitting and smoking. We can prevent all this nonsense by staying united. I pledge to contribute the best I can towards betterment of my homeland. Jai Hind.

FRIENDSHIP (THE MAGICAL BOND)

Every year I pass to new standards. I make new friends, but there are few who take place in my heart for lifetime. I have many friends like Smruti, Anushka, Jenai, Shamita, Nidhi, Nisha, Riya, Krish, Aditya and all my classmates have become a part of my life. 

We all pull each other's leg, but at the same time when a friend is in trouble, we are the first one to help. When someone is sad or has some problem, friends are the first one to help. I wonder how my friends get to know when am I sad and they console and support me!

Now I will introduce my friends to U.

• SMRUTI (THE LOUD SPEAKER)- Smruti is with me since Class 1. But she became my best friend in Standard 5.She is very good at heart.She gets amazing marks, runs very fast .But, she is very talkative and verbose. Even the teachers cannot control her. She always supports me, when I am in trouble.
• ANUSHKA(GULLIBLE)- Anushka has become my friend since we have met in standard 5. She is a fab dancer, good at heart,looks awesome.She is as innocent as lamb. I love munching on  chips, khakra, kachori which she often brings for lunch.
• JENAI(KHADOOS CLASS REP)-Jenai again met me in standard 5.She is the sweetest, cutest, chubbiest, whimsical person I have ever seen in my life. She is a very nice and a stern class rep. I hate her for one thing. She calls me ANGRY BULL. I just love her. She is crazy about barbie dolls.

FRIENDS ARE THE ONLY PEOPLE WHOM U LOVE AFTER FAMILY.

YOUR FRIENDS WILL UNDERSTAND YOU BETTER THAN YOURSELF.
